The United States Inter-Collegiate Chorale invites exceptionally qualified and interested collegiate singers from across the country to participate in a 50-voice mixed ensemble that will be in residence in New York City for two weeks, followed by one week of touring. The dates are June 21-July 11, 2010. The founding music director and conductor will be Dr. Craig Arnold, Director of Choral Activities at Luther College and former Director of Choral Activities at Western Michigan University and Capital University.
Students will be selected by recorded audition and college conductor recommendation. While in residence, students will have the opportunity for singing and conducting masterclasses; lectures and panel discussions led by New York professional singers, actors, producers, and conductors; and free evenings to attend concerts, plays, musicals, and other New York culture.
